The Legend of James 2 Year Anniversary Present!!! "Project Spark" Chapter 2 Excerpt

Excerpt from
Chapter 2
The Promise

Ivan

The Legend of Mace. Everyone knows it by heart. Pram and Ivist created the world. Things were looking good, but one day, Ivist persuaded the humans into thinking that Pram was evil. He gained many followers but then one day, he killed them all. Pram had created something called the "Right Light". To be able to beat Ivist, she added one more piece to it. She called it the "Bone Dome". It looked like a horn. Pram sent the remaining living organisms onto a new planet. The planet I live on, Mace. Pram, with the power of the Bone Dome, which have her a bone that could take many forms, was ready to fight Ivist. It's believed Pram was able to kill Ivist, but no one truly knows.
And once again Spark is telling me that she dreamt the same nightmare again. It's been happening for a while now. Four nights in a row. Spark is my best friend. I've been friends with her for the majority of my life. I pay attention while she tells me her story, or at least I try to. Her blue eyes distract me. Also, her blond hair. It's just so... perfect. Oh goddess, I'm in love with Spark. Spark, my best bud. I'm in love with her. I've never told her. Maybe in my mind when I picture us together. In those fantasies, she always likes me back.
We're on top of a hill, sitting upon it. It's been Spark and mines hideout since we were young. Except, we aren't really hidden. The sun finds and lights us.
Spark finishes her story, and turns to face me. My breathing stops, my face starts to blush, and I quickly look away. After a few moments, I look back at her. Her eyes are filled with tears. She's scared. Scared of going to sleep. I crawl over to her. When I get close to her, she throws her arms around me and starts to cry. I'm so taken by surprise, that it takes me a while to realize that she's hugging me. I close my arms around her, my eyes fixed on her hair.
Spark keeps crying on my shoulder, and I don't mind. She smells pretty good. After a while, she lets go of me, crawls back a little, and lies face down on the hill. Spark continues to cry.
I have to help her. I slowly lie down in front of her, when I realize that I'm shaking from nervousness. I take a few deep breaths. Alright, I'm better.
"Spark." I tap her arm and she looks up. Her eyes. They sparkle with tears. Spark-le. Oh, goddess. I open my mouth to speak, but nothing comes out, so I shut my mouth and put my head down onto the grass.

Keep on sparking!!!
-Ivan
