Project Spark Day 30 Update

The big news is... "preorders" are now "available". You can vomment "spark" below if you haven't messaged me otherwise. If you didn't get first, have no fear! Yep! I'm going to be posting the book on this blog when I release the book. It'll probably be a chapter a day. In other news, if you read the comics you probably remember David. And you might remember the whole part when he was a lizard or something? Well, I'm making his character different. I'm developing him differently, and that means no lizard thing in this series anymore.

Project Spark Day 26 Update

I've finally made it to Chapter 8! But, something doesn't feel right. I think I'm going to remove a scene from Chapter 7. I think it's too early for it. Also, Chapter 8 is going to be the first chapter I write on a seperate sheet of paper first. I want it to feel smooth and not choppy. I tried writing it last night, but it just wasn't the day to write it. I'm going to try super hard to finish the novel before school, but who knows.

Project Spark Day 25 Update

I'm continuing the character bios. Today is....
James ________.
James is a boy, 16 years old. He's the oldest of the trio, but he wasn't always friends with the trio. I'm the beginning of the novel, he's friends with different people. He becomes Spark and Ivan's friend during Chapter 5. So, not only do I need to develop villains, I have to develop James' relationship. James is said to have blond hair but that's it. Ivan states that Spark has better blind hair than him, so better luck next time, James. James is a respectful young... Guy. He realizes that Ivan may like Spark, so he backs off Spark. Whether that's because he respects Ivan or because maybe competing against Ivan would ve difficult, I don't know. Well... I do. James has had a total of 4 different hairstyles throughout the entire comic phase. The one on this post is the one from the unreleased comic. The very first attempt at James. It's hideous. The longest he's kept one hairstyle is two comics with Legend of James 2 and 3. There's no big secret about James... He's just the hero.... A hero that needs development, because honestly, would anyone have cared if he died in the comics... Didn't think so. I need to make him likable.

Ivan is a boy who... Isn't described physically in the novels but had black hair in the comics (when he wasn't cursed). He has turned 16 recently before Project Spark. He is the youngest of the three friends. He has a HUGE crush on Spark, his lifelong friend. He's shy, especially towards Spark. Ivan was originally going to be a minor character, and didn't even appear on the first James comic (17 pages, never released). He never became a love "option"for Spark until the first official James comic. He's become my favorite character, and not because he shares my name.

She is a girl, 16 years of age. She has blond(e) hair and blue eyes. She is really close to her family and is best friends with Ivan. She is a goddess, according to Ivan. But she's not. She's a human. Unless Ivan can see the future or something. Pretty sure she'll still be human. Anyways. Spark is sweet and nice, but can also protect herself. She doesn't need any guy to lean to. That wad the original picture of Spark, but sadly was never really shown in the comics. She was a damsel in distress about half the time. So, there ya go. Spark.

Project Spark Day 16 Update

I'm back!!! I'm feeling better, so now I can provide "quality" material. So, what more is there to talk about? I've covered about everything. Um, I'm not really sure. I could talk about the characters or more romance. I love writing the romance. Um, so much to talk about... I'll do more background info. The characters aren't really described that much. Just Spark and Pram for the most part. Spark, because Spark is Spark. Pram, well... She's a goddess. You'll remember how a goddess looks like if you ever see one. I want the reader to picture the characters however they want. Except, of course Spark. Spark is Spark... I'm trying my hardest to keep that beginning of the school year deadline, but I don't know if I can make it. I'll try, promise!

Ranking The Villains

Today is Day 13 and just so happens to be on a Friday. Soo... I'm going to rank the villains of The first Legend of James comic.
3. Vindicta: With barely any scenes, Ivan's doppelganger only got one battle in the comic, and might have been the shortest battle too. His motive is never really understood
2. Infection: A betrayed friend turns evil. With the most battles in the comic, why didn't he win? He was a puppet! His motive is to beat James. He doesn't care about hurting the others.
1. Ivist: The evil god wins! He is just evil. He doesn't need a motive. He's just crazy! He'll hurt anyone, kill anyone! He wants Spark and Ivan dead at first, but then wants James dead. He wants everyone against him, dead!!!

Project Spark Day 13 Update

Today, I wrote some more and I'm really liking Chapter 7. But, I stopped and thought, James has to have flaws. He can't be perfect. I think his flaw isb that he puts others ahead of himself. He tries to protect the ones he loves, but that's not possible sometimes... Also, the main problem in the comics were that villains were not developed well enough, and I think I've done it right, so far. Well, that's all!!!

Ranking "The Legend of James" RESULTS

So, after rereading them all, I've ranked them least favorite to favorite.

Honestly this list was really hard. Legend of James 1 had a good idea but was poorly executed. I'm fixing that in the novel. James 2 had the best character development, but had a weak ending. James 3 had a nice plot, but bad final battle. James 4 had a great story and the best romance. It suffered from bad development of villains and bad battles at the end. I think this was a good idea to do. Now I know what to work on to make the novels better.

Project Spark Day 11 Update

In the first comic, the romance was really bad. It didn't make sense. At all. So, I'm fixing it in the novel. In the novel, Ivan is Spark's lifelong friend. But he has a crush on her and blushes whenever he sees her. Spark notices the blushing but, she sees Ivan as a best friend. It's up to Ivan to make her fall for him. But James is also involved.... I'm trying to make this love triangle original and enjoyable. I hope you guys enjoy it.

Project Spark Day 10 Update

Well, I might as well make one. Two updates today. That's good, I guess. I'm just going to say that I'm loving Chapter 7 right now. I thought it wouldn't be that good, but it's way better. Maybe it'll become my favorite Chapter ( I think my favorite is Chapter 2). Chapter 7 is fun to write (even if it is told by James), because the characters feel lost. I think towards the beginning you start to feel like you're going to know the plot, but then it changes. I really like this Chapter. I hope you guys will like it, and the novel itself too.

So, more romance today!! So, since every character has flaws, here are the guys' flaws in romance. James is shy at first but overcomes it. His flaw is that he holds back from fully falling for Spark.
Ivan has a different flaw. He's shy towards spark. He can't even look at Spark most of the time. I like both characters almost equally. Who will get Spark?

Project Spark Day 7 Update

So. Today is Day 7 and my birthday. So, today I posted Chapter 1. Also, I'll update you on stuff, but about what? I'll do romance. The romance is honestly the best parts to write. It's fun and easy for me. I'm trying to make the romance equal on both James X Spark and Ivan X Spark. But it's obvious that Ivan X Spark has been shown more. This love triangle it's also important to the plot, but I'll leave it as a surprise for when you read the book.
How is the romance different? Ivan is Spark's lifelong friend and he's started crossing on her a while ago. The problem for him? He's too shy. We see him struggle to just talk to Spark, which is sad if you think about it.
The James story is different. He becomes friends with Spark and Ivan during the first chapters, and realizes that he likes Spark. He's a little shy in the beginning, but ends up overcoming it. His problem? He doesn't think he deserves Spark. He thinks that Spark deserves better than him. That he's not good enough for someone like Spark.
So the battle begins. Who wins Spark? I honestly have 2 different ways to end the romance triangle. One way more brutal than the other...

"Project Spark" Chapter 1: The Creation of Mace

Pram

I stand alongside my partner, my love, Ivist. We are gods. Ivist the god and Pram the goddess. Ivist is staring at me, wondering what I'm wondering about. I'm thinking not only of him, but other things as well. I'm thinking of land. Of life. I'm thinking of all this and more. Can Ivist and I make a world? Can we make a whole universe? Just him and me? Could we start a new world with humans? Humans to care for and help when help is needed? Could we? We could do it. I know we could.
"What's wrong?" he asks as he grabs my face. "You seem..down. What's bothering you?" His eyes of concern pull me in. I look straight at them. Breathtaking, really. His gray eyes are really something unique.
"I want-" I start. "I want to make a world with you." I don't look away from his eyes.
He chuckles. "A whole world? With me? I feel honored." His eyes keep locked onto mine. "Let's do it then." He holds my hand. "How do you do just that?"
"I think we both use our powers. Combine them, maybe. Just keep the idea in your head, and maybe it'll work." It's my best guess, anyway. I close my eyes and continue to hold his hand. I think of all the humans Ivist and I can make. I think of all the world, all the everything we can make. I feel a tingling sensation in my body. It's like nostalgia, but it can't can't be, can it? It hasn't happened before, so how can I feel nostalgic? My hand starts tingling. It's starting,I know it. My whole body is excited and delighted to welcome the world that we created.
I open my eyes when I hear Ivist gasp. "Pram," he calls. "It's beautiful." I look at the world. Ivist and I are actually standing on something. We stand on a rocky, dirty ground. We tower over everything. "Well, it's a start." He picks up a stone off the ground. He rubs it between his fingers. He smiles. "Awesome. Here." He hands me the rock. I take it. It feels a little rough. The more I rub, the smaller it gets, the dirtier my fingers get.
"Before we make the humans, we have to make it livable for them. So let's add environment!" I stretch my arms out in front of me, and a tall wood thing is formed. "Just like that! A tree!" I smile. Ivist smirks at me.
"Okay, you'll be in charge of "trees", and I'll be in charge of the sky!" He turns around and gets to work. I continue working on the trees. "Pram... Darling." I turn around. A puff of something that looks very soft welcomes my eyes. " I call it a cloud," he proclaims. " It's all yours." He smiles and his teeth are exposed.
Ivist is a very smiley, sarcastic man. He's always smiling and cracking jokes no matter what's happening. Is that why I love him? Maybe. Does he like me? He called me darling...
We finish making the human's environment more human for them. "Alright. Up next are the humans, I suppose," Ivist concludes.
"Uh, not quite." I say. "I want to make a new species." Ivist stares at me like I'm crazy. " I know it sounds weird, but it's not. Just, trust me." I shoot a beam of pink light out of my hands. It turns into a big pink ball. It dilutes and where nothing once stood float a bunch of orbs with  two wings.
"Fairies," Ivist stares in awe. He starts to laugh in a supporting way, if those exist. "They'll be called fairies." He smiles. "Do we name them?"
"Oh, sure." I stare at them. There are fourteen of them. Seven male, seven female. Moon, Drip, Leaf, Flare, Shocker, Shadow, and Sting are the names I decide to call the seven male fairies. The females get called Shine, Droplet, Flower, Heat, Nuzzle, Pulse, and Toxic. "Okay. Time for the humans." I take a deep breath. This is it. We are becoming real gods. Gods that humans will look up to, pray to, love.
Ivist grabs my hand. "You ready?" I nod my head. "Just like last time. Think as hard as you can about the humans." I shut my eyes and think only about the humans. The tingling starts again and this time it's combined with nostalgia. The tingling reaches my hand. It's happening.
This time I open my eyes first. Two creatures are there. Two humans. "Hello," I call to them. They're tiny compared to us. They need names.
I look over to Ivist. "They need names." He stares at me, then looks at them.
"Ivist and Pram," he suggests. I look at him. His face makes me crack up. "What's so funny?" He continues to stare at me. I try to control my laughter.
"No," I manage to say. "New names." I look at the two humans, who are probably scared. "James." I point to the male human. "He's James." I call to Ivist. "That'll be James." I look over to the female human. "Spark," I decide. "James and Spark."
"I like it," Ivist agrees.
I kneel over to the humans. Their eyes go big, in fear I'm assuming. I point to myself. "My name is Pram." I point to Ivist. "That's Ivist." They continue to stare. "You," I point to the male, who steps back "You're James." I point to the girl. She steps behind the man. Behind James. "You're Spark."
It's getting dark out now. I'm looking at cloud Ivist made for me. James and Spark went walking, exploring the world we made for them. The world with no rules. I need to do something. I need to show the people, or couple, of this world that Ivist and I exist. For the future generations. Some won't believe in us, but that doesn't mean we didn't exist. I can try to prove our existence. But how? I've got to do something. I know that I'll protect the humans forever. I need to. I open my eyes wide. I know what I'll do. A symbol. A symbol that stands for what this world was created by. Strength, Wisdom, Magic, and Bravery. But what'll the symbol be? I start to think about it. A square with a cross inside it. The cross splits the square into four pieces. The four "creations". All I need is a name. Something the humans will always remember. The Light Square? No. The Square of Creation? Nope. I've got it!
The Right Light.
As soon as I picture all this, the tingling feeling returns. My soul feels light, as if I'm the nicest thing alive. I don't close my eyes this time. I watch as The Right Light is made. It's gold. Suddenly, right above my cloud stands The Right Light. The Right Light. On my cloud. The Right Light Cloud.
"What's that?" Ivist walks up behind me.
"The Right Light." He stares at me, puzzled.
"What's that mean?"
"It means that we'll always protect the humans. It means to believe and value the founding creations; Strength, Wisdom, Magic, and Bravery." I turn around to look at him. He returns the look. His mysterious gray eyes just...hypnotize me. I step closer to him. I grab his shoulders. He puts his hands on my waist. Nothing matters right now. Just Ivist. He leans his head towards me ,and now even I don't matter.
"Pram,darling. Oh how much I love you." He pulls me and kisses me. He leans back and smiles. And I can't help but smile too.

Some time passes. By some, I mean one thousand, seven hundred sixty-five years. James and Spark have died, but not before giving birth to children, causing a chain reaction. Currently, over three million humans live on the land, the land called Mace.
Today, Ivist and I are just staying put. Like everyday for the past thousand years.
"What can we do today?" Ivist asks. He's bored, and I don't blame him.
"Just watch over the humans," I reply. No human has seen us since over one thousand years. Ivist sighs. All we have is each other,again.
"Today," Ivist says. "Let's return today." He stand up. I look at him. Today. We could return today. After not being present for a thousand years. The idea gets me pumped up.
"Today." I say. "Today we return." Ivist cracks a smile.
"Now we're talking. When are we going?"
"Right now." I stand up. I look over to my fairies. "See ya soon!" And with that, Ivist and I exit the room.
The Right Light Cloud waits outside the door. The Right Light hovers over the cloud. Ivist hops off the cloud and onto Mace. I follow.All of everything stops and looks at us. The six million human eyes all look at us. Just two gods standing in front of them.
"We should shrink down,"Ivist tells me. He closes his eyes and starts to shrink. I close my eyes and do the same. Now, I'm the size of a human. The size of James and Spark. Together, Ivist and I walk towards the humans. Towards a new peaceful life. Forever.

Project Spark Day 6 Update

Well, happy 4th of July! Since, it is  the 4th of July, today we're going to talk about the land that James and his friends live in, and the land that Pram and Ivist created together.
Mace 1. The world that Ivist and Pram created together. This "planet" had the first humans ever! The God War was fought here,and was later renamed "Ivist" by none other than, Ivist himself.
Mace 2. During the war, Pram tried to save the humans, so she sent them to a new small planet. She called it Mace. Mace is currently where James lives in the beginning of the book. Mace resembles the land of Ivist a lot.
It is also Day 6 with my updates, so when I think of 6 I think about evil things. So, let's talk villains.
There are 3 villains in the novel. Deciding who is the main one is difficult because one has more battles, but another is considered more important. Here is the list of current battles I have in mind.
Villain 1. 4 battles
Villain 2. 3 battles
Villain 3. 2 battles
So there's a total of 9 battles.
One last thing, tomorrow, being July 5th, my birthday, and Day 7, my favorite number, I'll be posting Chapter 1. It's probably my least favorite chapter, but maybe you'll like it... Maybe not.

Project Spark Day 5 Update

So, now there's a question of "how will I be able to read this novel?" Or not. Anyways, here's my plan. I'm going to finish writing the novel. I'm going to buy several notebooks (wide ruled preferably). Then I'm going to edit my book. After I finish editing the book, I'll copy the edited edition to another notebook(s). So, in the end I'll have two copies available for people to read. Maybe I'll make three, so I can keep one. That's it for today, I guess. If you actually read this, thank you!

Project Spark Day 4 Update

Yesterday's update was for newer fans, since I realized that some people might not know who is who. Now, I can start updating or something. I don't know where I was going there...
Anyways, today I'll make a little plot summary or whatever they're called. So, here goes.
The story starts when Pram and Ivist are creating the world. Then it goes forward in time a few thousands of years. Two thousand and twelve years to be exact. Here we see Ivan and Spark on top of a hill, discussing a problem. Spark keeps having the same nightmare, that she's Pram and has to fight Ivist. Soon, the characters get transported to a new world. A world where Pram lives. They realize that they were all chosen, but for what positions is the question. Embark on a journey that has romance, action, drama, and other cool stuff. Maybe even a godly enemy... Also doppelgangers.
That's the basic plot. No spoilers, just hints.
